In my life, I’ve had 3 pets worth mentioning. Sure, I have others, but these are the pets I have the best memories with. I will put images as I go, so you can see what each one looks like.
Miko
The first cat is the one I have the most special memories with. His name is Miko, and you can read all about him in one of my other posts, Mikoching the Cat. He was my very first cat, and he watched over me like a guard dog, or in this case, guard cat, because I was still very young then. Miko is the only cat who has been with me on all my vacations and has a fear of water. I don’t need an alarm clock with Miko around! He wakes me up every morning, meowing for food. He is also part Maine Coon.
Sunfall
The second cat is named Sunfall. He is very special because he always stays with me, no matter what I do. He was my 6th cat and he is the cat who bit me the least. The only strange thing about him is he is NOT a lap cat. He does not get along well with the other cats, but he has a sweet habit of rubbing around you when he wants food. Once, when I was watching the Lord of the Rings, Sunfall jumped up in front of the TV and began pawing at the characters on the screen! Another time, I was studying with the window open. One of my papers blew across the desk. It would’ve blown out the window if not for Sunfall. He was sitting on my desk when the paper blew away, he reached out and held down the paper with his front paw. Whether he was playing or not, all I can say is he makes an excellent paperweight!
Strider
My last pet is named Strider and he is a dog, my first dog. I named him after the Lord of the Rings character. I have the funniest memories with him. One time me and my friends were in the pool and we were all under water. Strider jumped in and scared us to death! We were and laughing and Strider was treading water with a big doggy grin. Another time I woke up and it was completely dark. I had my phone charging, which should have given off a little light, but it was dark- and furry. Strider had been laying on my face! And one time when I was watching TV, I put my hand on Strider’s paw. But then he took his paw out from under my hand and placed it on top of my hand! I repositioned my hand on his paw, and again he put his paw on my hand. He does this to me a lot now, and I call the game ” Top Hand.”
So there you have it. Find out what’s special about YOUR pets and put it in a comment. Thanks! 🙂
My cat Ching is always very protective. He is like the dog of the cat world. 😉
What a sweet cat! You are really lucky.
