Dear Me,

Congrats! You are almost 14 years old and still going strong. Imagine, 8 years ago, you were that cute little girl going off to kindergarten. You were a smart and sweet little girl then, and I advise you to stay that way for as long as you can. You are only 5 once.

Never lose that adventurous spirit of yours. It will come in handy in the future. You don’t have to worry about dress to impress and being cute. Wait until high school for that.You have so much ahead of you. Just be that rosy-cheeked cute-as-a-button little girl.

Losing Miko will be one of the hardest things you will ever experience. He means a lot to you and Mum and Dad. But I promise, you will pull through. And of course, Miko would want you to be happy.

You are just a little girl. Remember that. You are such a perfect little girl. You always tried hard, even at such a young age. Don’t pressure yourself. You are not a kid yet, but a toddler. You have so much ahead of you, so much to learn. So keep being the sweet little girl I know you are. This letter is for you alone. I am proud to have once been you.
